At Noraé, we understand that art is more than a purchase — it is an investment in beauty. Every artwork is packaged and shipped with the same reverence we bring to curating our collection. Whether your piece travels across the city or across the globe, we ensure it arrives in impeccable condition.

Shipping

Fulfilment

Artworks are shipped directly by the artist or through Noraé’s vetted logistics partners, ensuring professional handling from studio to doorstep.

Processing Times

Original artworks: 5–10 business days. Each original is custom-packaged with archival materials, corner protectors, and reinforced crating when necessary.

Fine art prints: 3–5 business days. Prints are flat-packed or shipped in rigid tubes with acid-free tissue.

Worldwide Delivery

We ship to over 100 countries. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on artwork dimensions, weight, and destination.

Free shipping on orders over €500.

International customs duties and import taxes are the buyer’s responsibility. These charges vary by country and are not included in the artwork price or shipping fee.

Insurance & Protection

Original artworks are shipped with full transit insurance included at no extra cost.

Prints can be insured at checkout for a modest fee. We strongly recommend this for international shipments.

Premium packaging: Every original is double-boxed with custom foam inserts, glassine wrapping, and “Fragile” labelling. Our packaging meets museum-grade standards for art transit.

Returns

14-Day Cooling-Off Period

In accordance with Dutch consumer protection law, you have the right to return an artwork within 14 days of delivery without giving a reason. To initiate a return, contact us at returns@norae.gallery with your order number.

Return Conditions

  • The artwork must be returned in its original packaging and in undamaged condition.
  • Return shipping costs are the buyer’s responsibility. We recommend using an insured, trackable shipping service.
  • Refunds are processed within 14 days of receiving the returned artwork, to the original payment method.

Non-Returnable Items

  • Prints are non-returnable once the packaging has been opened, unless the item is defective or damaged in transit.
  • Custom and commissioned works are non-returnable, as they are created specifically for the buyer.
Damaged in transit? Damage claims must be filed within 48 hours of delivery. Please email support@norae.gallery with your order number and clear photographs of both the artwork and the packaging. We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no additional cost to you.
